How do I book an appointment?

What are the salon hours?

Every other Sunday: 9am-2pm
Monday: 10am-7pm
Tuesday: 9am-2pm
Every other Wednesday: 2pm-8pm
What is your cancellation/reschedule/late/sick policy?
​
Please allow 24 hours to cancel or reschedule your appointment. If less than 24 hours notice is given, a 25% rebooking fee of all services booked will need to be paid prior to making a new appointment. No-Shows will be charged a rebooking fee of 50% of all services booked before a new appointment can be made. A client is considered a No-Show after 30 minutes past their appointment time and no contact has been made. TED appointments will be charged a $150 rebooking fee for late cancellations or no shows.

Late policy: If you arrive late for your appointment, your appointment may need to be rescheduled. A late arrival fee of $15 will be applied after 10 minutes past your appointment time if services are able to still be rendered. If there is not enough time and you need to be rescheduled, a late cancellation rebooking fee will need to be paid as stated above before making a new appointment.

Sick policy: Please do not come to your appointment if you are sick or have been caring for someone in direct contact that is sick. Although illness can be out of our control, the listed cancellation, reschedule, late, and no show policies above apply the same if someone is sick. This is due to this time in the salon being reserved for you personally, and last minute cancellations are next to impossible to be filled. If the appointment is able to be filled, though, you will not be charged.

To cancel or reschedule your appointment, please use the links found in your reminder email or search your email for 'The Beauty Compass' and find the original appointment email that was sent. This email will contain links to reschedule or cancel your appointment to avoid any fees.
If a guest is found often canceling or rescheduling their appointments, it is at the sole discretion of Cara at The Beauty Compass to limit or no longer allow booking appointments. Please note that this time is reserved for you, and habitual canceling or rescheduling takes time away from Cara and other guests who are looking to reserve an appointment.
What is your refund policy?

The Beauty Compass does not offer refunds. Should you be unhappy for any reason, please contact Cara by email at hello@thebeautycompass.com within 3 days of your appointment, and she will be happy to assist you.
Are you accepting new clients?
​
Cara is always accepting new clients for hair loss, scalp services, and hair extensions.
At this time, only clients currently receiving color and/or haircut appointments can book those services. New clients are not accepted for color and/or haircut services.
