This is the first step in your journey to understanding your scalp and hair health. Together we will examine a close up look of your scalp and hair follicles.
Here's what you can expect:
Prior to your visit, you will fill out a questionnaire so I can have a full understanding of your hair and health background.
During your visit, we'll examine your lifestyle, health, nutrition, haircare routine, and medical history to identify contributing factors of your concerns, along with a microscopic scalp assessment to help us create a tailored plan just for you. This deep dive will allow us to pinpoint what the cause of your hair loss, hair thinning, or scalp symptoms may be and the best approach to resolve these concerns for you. If any additional information is needed, Cara will discuss this with you.
After your visit, Cara will follow up with you by email with what we discussed and deliver a plan of action to improve your hair and scalp health based on your lifestyle, budget, and preferences. These recommendations will help you feel confident and comfortable in addressing your concerns as we work together to optimize your scalp and hair health.

TED Treatments

Epigenetic Hair Scan
Epigenetic testing looks at how your cells or DNA interact with your behaviors, environment, and everyday lifestyle. Using only a few strands of hair, this simple test gives us a closer look at factors within the body that may be influencing your overall hair and scalp health.
Our hair doesn’t exist separately from the rest of our body. Nutritional needs, environmental stressors, and other internal imbalances can all play a role in how our hair grows and how our scalp functions. Your Epigenetic Hair Scan provides insight into areas such as vitamins and minerals, amino acids, antioxidants, environmental challenges, and other markers that may be worth paying attention to.
Rather than guessing at what your body may need, this gives us another piece of information to consider as we build a more personalized approach to supporting your hair and scalp.
What to Expect:
After gathering your hair sample and sending it off to be analyzed, you’ll receive a detailed 30-page report. Cara will review your results and follow up with a personalized, detailed email walking you through her findings, what stands out, and how those findings may relate to your hair and scalp health.
You’ll leave with a better understanding of what may be happening beneath the surface, along with practical recommendations to help support your hair, scalp, and overall wellness.
A retest after 90 days is recommended so we can see what has changed, where improvements have been made, and what we can continue building on as part of your hair health journey.
